Mokulele Airlines announces California Service

Apr 19

Honolulu Hawaii (April 19th, 2016) – Mokulele Airlines today announced that it is expanding its operation to begin serving California May 23rd, 2016. The airline will offer convenient daily flights to Imperial / El Centro and Los Angeles California. Please note Mokulele will not be flying from Hawaii to California. Daily flights will be between Los Angeles and Imperial / El Centro airports.

“We have to say a big mahalo to Hawai‘i for making us their favorite Island Hopper,” said Mokulele President Rob McKinney. “What we’ve been invited to bring to California is exactly what made Mokulele Airlines such a success here – highly competitive prices, convenient schedules, great service, and on time flights.”

Mokulele will continue providing over 120 daily flights to Oahu, Molokai, Maui, and The Big Island. Pets will continue to fly for free, and the first checked bag is only $20. Kids under the age of 11 will still get a 25% discount. The U.S. Military and Coast Guard will receive discounts, and participants in the airline’s frequent flyer and business flyer programs will continue enjoying all the perks and amenities they’ve grown used to.

“We really wouldn’t have been cleared for takeoff in California if it weren’t for the support of the Hawai‘i market,” said Mr. McKinney. “To say thanks, any Kama‘aina flying Mokulele in California will receive a 25% discount when they show their Hawai‘i I.D. And of course their pets will fly free.”
